Tony Zavala is an accomplished business and real estate investor native to
San Antonio. After attending the United States Naval Academy
then St. Mary's University, he spent 10 years working in Corporate America, 7 at USAA in Information Technology. While at USAA, he frequently traveled to the
Regional Offices to train I/T departments in the technical support of secure
networks and proprietary applications. Then 3 years were
with Wachovia leading development of mainframe to internet infrastructure
and application projects. As a prior Naval serviceman, his military awards
include the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Rifleman, and Expert Pistol.
During his Corporate career, Tony successfully launch several additional
businesses including an automated coin-operated Laundromat franchise, a
multi-million dollar development partnership with Hilton Hotels, and a private
real estate investment company completing and consulting on many residential and
commercial real estate projects in South Texas. Tony is currently a full time
real estate investor and business owner in San Antonio, and his professional
specialties include multi-family properties, foreclosures, business incubation
and self directed retirement account investing.
Tony Zavala is a business and personal mentor for many, has been a
contributing author for magazines and industry publications, a featured speaker
on local television programs, and the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
He serves on the San Antonio Board of The Mission Continues, the Advisory Council for the Salvation Army Women and Children's
shelter, is a husband and father of 3 beautiful girls.
